Here are 5 things that we feel make us
stand out from other clinics
1. We believe
listening to you is the most important part of your treatment
If you aren't being listened to, or aren't given the time to talk then we dont understand how you can possibly feel like you get a good service
2. We know our limits and are not afraid to loose a client if they are better off seeing someone else
We work closely as a team so we often have the right person for you in our team. However, we have a great network of the right people to see if we think your condition is beyond our knowledge
3. We care about the fine details of how your pain got there
The fine details are often overlooked by most therapists and its often these that give us clues to help get you better, we are quite anal about this
4. We take our time to understand your body to get you the most effective result
Rushing through a treatment doesn't get lasting results, we aim to not get you to come back with the same problem
5. We work with you to achieve a better body
Everyone is capable of making their body better, but some people dont choose the right path to take. Which path will you take?
Below are some more comments and questions that other people have found useful
Our sole aim is to make sure you get better – quickly! We treat each case on their individual needs: this means that we don't do the same thing every time and we make sure we find what's going on to get you better – and keep you that way! We are pleased when you don't come back because it means we've done a good job and you feel better. It also means you are still doing your rehab exercises and continuing to manage your issue. We are always here for you though if things lapse.
Perfect Balance Clinics have all been strategically located within well-known health establishments, allowing us to tailor a comprehensive treatment plan for all your needs. We are located in Hertfordshire: Hatfield, St Albans (Mother & Baby), St Albans (Sports Injuries), and London: Harley street, Moorgate and St John's Wood.
We like to think of our company as lots of little clinics all under one roof, with one big pool of in-house knowledge to get you better!
We all meet on a regular basis to make sure we share ideas and keep in touch with each other. When necessary, and in confidence, we discuss case notes of people we have seen who are being treated by more than one therapist, to make sure they are getting better as quickly as possible.
We offer a specialised team of clinicians and therapists, each with a unique interest in the well-being of the body. Tailored treatment is provided for people from every walk of life - whether you have back pain, aches or pains, knee pain, a sports injury, discomfort during pregnancy or even a crying baby who can't sleep.
Yes! Our therapists, whether Physiotherapists or Osteopaths, are all covered with private health insurance policies. We work with most private health insurers, including AXA PPP, Standard Life, BUPA, HSA, AVIVA, WPA and Cigna. Please provide us with details of your health insurance provider when booking your first appointment to see a Physiotherapist or Osteopath.
We believe our approach to healthcare is unique. We have a team of male and female practitioners who provide a wide range of specialist services, including Osteopathy and Physiotherapy (which both include Acupuncture), Sports Therapy, Podiatry, Sports Massage, Cranial Osteopath, Pregnancy Massage and Post-pregnancy Rehabilitation
This ultimately means that you get to see the right person to help you rather than just taking a chance with any therapist from the local sports club or through Google/Yellow Pages! Our friendly reception staff will discuss your concerns and then direct you to the right person (whether that's an Osteopath, Physiotherapist or another experienced therapist) at a time that suits you.
During your first session, your Osteopath or Physiotherapist will take a detailed medical history to help to get to the cause of the problem. If they feel they are not the best person to help you, they will refer you to another specialist within the clinic, or to the most appropriate place. All our therapists are fully qualified, insured and professional, ensuring you receive a great service every time.
We have taken time to build our team and we look for practitioners who can bring something unique to the team, not just anyone!
This means that we actually do lots of things ... well! The company started with two Osteopaths (one a midwife and the other with a background in neuroscience and sports) coming together with a vision to create a 360-degree solution for people's health. We have grown lots since then and our staff work as a team to provide a special service. None of us are afraid of hard work so we are 100% dedicated to getting you back on track.
We can help with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, trapped nerves, wrist pain, hand pain, sports injuries, pregnancy discomfort, crying babies and more. We treat using a range of methods, including Physiotherapy and Osteopathy, in Hatfield, St Albans, St John's Wood, Harley Street and Moorgate: whatever your concern, we can find the right service for you. We are also one of the few clinics in the country to offer TOG Gaitscan and Biomechanical Analysis.
By listening to what you need from the moment we take your call to the moment we tell you 'I hope I don't see you too soon', we listen, we care and we are professional. We are Perfect Balance Clinic.
We understand that no-one knows everything, so each of us brings something unique to the treatment room. The sum of all our experiences and knowledge results in a comprehensive understanding of the functions and dysfunctions of the body, from back pain to sports injury, from pregnancy to newborn babies. Our clients have described us as ‘truly unique and professional clinicians’.
We passionately believe in movement and exercise as a route to giving you optimal health, to aid reduction of problems such as back pain, and to promote well-being for everyone. This is why we work closely with rehabilitation experts: Pilates instructors, Physiotherapists and Personal trainers, to provide that all-in-one package to get you back to health.
We review how our clients get on at the clinic and we find that, in most cases, individuals who have been referred within our team have got the best from seeing several therapists and its taken fewer treatments to get them better, saving time and money.
For those who don’t fall into the bracket of professional athlete or sports person, all our practitioners are trained to give you simple exercises to help enhance your treatment plan - giving you greater results! All of our clinicians share a like-minded approach to healthcare and believe that a truly complete package is the only option for you, whether it be in Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Sports Massage or Sports Therapy - we will find the right specialist for you.
Whether you have torn a ligament whilst running a marathon, woken up with an aching neck, have bad posture that is resulting in lower back pain or have a baby who just won’t sleep, we have the professional skills and the time to listen in order to formulate the correct course of treatment to help put things right again. Whatever your limitation or ailment, from the start to the finish line, we guarantee to Restore Your Perfect Balance.
We often find people reduce their visits to the clinic by following these five simple tips to restore their Perfect Balance:
- Get plenty of sleep, keep hydrated and optimise your nutrition.
- Incorporate ten minutes of regular stretching into your daily life.
- To improve power in athletic performance, focus on the core muscles outwards.
- Focus on quality not quantity when taking part in sports and exercise. Once this is ingrained in your nervous system, you will achieve more and progress even quicker!
- Allow rest between sets of exercises, allowing adequate recovery of muscle energy stores.
