  • The overall service has been excellent. Since I have been going to the Perfect Balance Clinic, my knee issues have significantly improved for the first time in 2 years I now know what the issues are and I now have the confidence to know that my condition can indeed be fixed to the extent that will allow me to start training again. Thanks Perfect Balance!

  • I would highly recommend Perfect Balance for their professional service from booking to follow up. I was considering having an aromatherapy massage to relieve the pain in my shoulder but opted to try a sports massage instead.

I am pleased I did as it was extremely effective and the therapist was very professional and offered some great advice on how to improve my condition at home. I was very impressed with the overall service.

  • Quite possibly the best clinic in Hertfordshire. Have seen many people there over the years but I’m especially drawn to Sara who makes my body feel supple and injury free almost immediately!!

No pressure to to return and soooo much advice, help and support given! Thanks Sara

  • Came to visit Andrew with my daughter after hearing how great he was with children,my daughter had been suffering with torticollis since 5 weeks of age and after seeing numerous consultants at different clinics and private hospitals, and not getting anywhere we decided to try an osteopath…I’m so glad we did.

My daughter is just turning one and she hasn’t had any seizures or head tilts for 6 months now,we had 3 treatments with Andrew and that was the best thing we’ve ever done and if Aaliyah develops any problems in the future then our trust is only with Andrew at Perfect Balance from now on. 100% would recommend and certainly worth our travel.

  • I am so thankful that we found you and the Perfect Balance Clinic. I was feeling pretty desperate with the pain in my left hip and leg, and not prepared to start taking morphine if there was another way of dealing with the pain while waiting for the appointment with the surgeon. The journey to and from the clinic was a challenge, but the experience of being listened to and the treatments themselves have outweighed that challenge.

It has been an education, to both Ken and myself, to see how you approach the difficulties I have been experiencing with a fresh and analytical eye, and use tools, ancient and modern, to make improvements for me.

I am feeling so much more positive about my future after your care, so thank you.

  • I went to Perfect Balance Clinic to seek treatment for knee pain. I had had this pain for so long that I thought that it was something which could only be alleviated through a nasty operation.

The service I received in my appointment was excellent. The key thing for me was how friendly the osteopath was, and I instantly felt at ease. What impressed me most was how he treated me. I thought that the appointment would just involve some poking and prodding, which I had encountered years before, but the osteopath began by asking me detailed questions about my health history. This was brilliant, as the osteopath was almost like a detective, building up the evidence until he had an accurate picture of what might be the cause of my pain.

He then gently examined my legs, and concluded that I had a condition called chondromalacia patella, a common knee complaint. I was given some simply exercises and told to have cod liver oil everyday, and I was amazed that within a couple of days, the pain was greatly reduced.

Something which had been with me for so long, disappeared so quickly all thanks to Perfect Balance Clinic.

In sum, the friendly and expert appointment I had, coupled with the fact that my knee problems went so quickly, means that Perfect Balance Clinic is an excellent osteopathy/physio, which is extremely good value for money!

  • I really enjoy my pilates classes at Perfect Balance. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The sessions are in small groups of 6 maximum taught by a pilates teacher who is also a physiotherapist. I have a back injury and I feel I can trust the teacher to keep my back safe.

What I love is that each client is given an individual set of exercises based on their ability level and/or injury. After attending classes for 8 weeks I already feel stronger and fitter.

  • I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the physiotherapist Mark Richardson. He is very personable and a brilliant therapist! When I came to the clinic I was in a lot of pain with my shoulder and after three sessions with Mark I am so much better!
I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend your clinic.

  • Andrew has been great, very supportive, explaining the issues clearly and tailoring my treatment to accommodate my SLE.

We know our limits and are happy keeping our clients, not our egos, at the centre of our approach.

That Personal Touch

Our sole aim is to make sure you get better – quickly!

We treat each case based on individual needs: this means that we don’t do the same thing every time and we make sure we find what’s going on to get you better – and keep you that way!

We are pleased when you don’t come back because it means we’ve done a good job and you feel better! It also means you are still doing your rehab exercises and continuing to manage your issue. We are always here for you though if things lapse.

Perfect Balance Clinics have all been strategically located within well-known health establishments, allowing us to tailor a comprehensive treatment plan for all your needs. We are located in Hertfordshire: Hatfield, St Albans (Mother & Baby), St Albans (Sports Injuries), St.Albans the Maltings and London: Harley street, St.Pauls (Trump Street).

We like to think of our company as lots of little clinics all under one roof, with one big pool of in-house knowledge to get you better! We all meet on a regular basis to make sure we share ideas and keep in touch with each other. When necessary, and in confidence, we discuss case notes of people we have seen who are being treated by more than one therapist, to make sure they are getting better as quickly as possible.

A friendly team to help relieve your pain

We offer a specialised team of clinicians and therapists, each with a unique interest in the well-being of the body. Tailored treatment is provided for people from every walk of life – whether you have back pain, aches or pains, knee pain, a sports injury, discomfort during pregnancy or even a crying baby who can’t sleep.

Can I claim through my health insurance?

Yes! Our therapists, whether Physiotherapists or Osteopaths, are all covered with private health insurance policies. We work with most private health insurers, including AXA PPP, Standard Life, BUPA, HSA, AVIVA, WPA and Cigna. Please provide us with details of your health insurance provider when booking your first appointment to see a Physiotherapist or Osteopath.

What services does the clinic provide?

We have taken time to build our team and we look for practitioners who can bring something unique to the team, not just anyone!

This means that we actually do lots of things … well!

The company started with two Osteopaths (one a midwife and the other with a background in neuroscience and sports) coming together with a vision to create a 360-degree solution for people’s health. We have grown lots since then and our staff work as a team to provide a special service. None of us are afraid of hard work so we are 100% dedicated to getting you back on track. We can help with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, trapped nerves, wrist pain, hand pain, sports injuries, pregnancy discomfort, crying babies and more. We treat using a range of methods, including Physiotherapy and Osteopathy, in Hatfield, St Albans, St.Pauls, Harley Street and Luton: whatever your concern, we can find the right service for you. We are also one of the few clinics in the country to offer the Gait-scan and Biomechanical Analysis.

By listening to what you need from the moment we take your call to the moment we tell you ‘I hope I don’t see you too soon’, we listen, we care and we are professional.

We are Perfect Balance Clinic

Teamwork for the best results

We passionately believe in movement and exercise as a route to giving you optimal health, to aid reduction of problems such as back pain, and to promote well-being for everyone. This is why we work closely with rehabilitation experts: Pilates instructors, Physiotherapists and personal trainers, to provide that all-in-one package to get you back to health. We review how our clients get on at the clinic and we find that, in most cases, individuals who have been referred within our team have got the best from seeing several therapists and its taken fewer treatments to get them better, saving time and money.

A treatment plan that makes sense

For those who don’t fall into the bracket of professional athlete or sports person, all our practitioners are trained to give you simple exercises to help enhance your treatment plan – giving you greater results! All of our clinicians share a like-minded approach to healthcare and believe that a truly complete package is the only option for you, whether it be in Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Sports Massage or Sports Therapy – we will find the right specialist for you.
