Past experience / employment

I have worked in private practice and specialised in complex musculoskeletal conditions. I have also provided first aid for young athletes of various sports on the field. I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams to learn about different treatment approach and have easy access to other intervention to insure the best management for every conditions.

Since my graduation in 2012, I have always worked in as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. I worked in Canada for 2 years then I moved to Australia where I worked for 3 years. While in Australia, I trained in a comprehensive whole body approach which greatly improved the effectiveness of my interventions especially for complex conditions. This comprehensive approach focuses the body as a whole to find and treat the underlying cause of injuries. Once the cause is accurately established, sometime remote from the area of symptoms, a plan is established in consultation with the person to treat and prevent flare up or recurrence of the issue.

Using this cutting-edge approach, I successfully helped several national and world class athletes (e.g. cycling, athletics, cross-country skiing…) and even professional musicians overcome stubborn recurring injuries.

My experience in various high level sports as an athlete gives me a good understanding of optimal movement patterns to address sports and functional movements (e.g. everyday tasks) related injuries.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
