As a health and fitness enthusiast, I recognise the importance of a holistic approach to treatment after a sports-related injury. It is this fundamental principle that drives my approach to sports massage therapy. Based on an assessment of the entire body, I tailor each treatment I give to the specific needs of the individual.
In addition to my degree in Sports Therapy, my personal training qualifications give me the technical foundation needed to treat a wide variety of injuries and conditions. The link between the treatment room and the gym floor invaluable; my experience of both gives me the tools to provide all-round care and advice.
Following my degree, I worked at a local football club, supporting athletes with injury prevention and rehabilitation. Later, I ran a small personal training studio where I curated personalised workout plans for achieving fitness aspirations.
Sport massage techniques are used to relieve tension in the muscles as well as strengthen weak muscles. A number of office-workers benefit from sports massage.
