OSTEOPATH, PERSONAL TRAINER & SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST
I have been involved in physical therapy and manual treatment since 1995, when I graduated in Sport Science and started working as a personal trainer soon after. As time passed, I felt the desire to complement my coaching skills with a thorough hands-on component, having realised that human body posture, biomechanics, injury and pain coexist with movement in all its expressions and modalities.
That was the beginning of a deep passion and my path towards becoming a manual therapist and to later fulfil the dream of becoming an osteopath.
I have worked in the wellness industry for 25 years, offering my service in several gyms as a personal trainer, movement therapist and class instructor as well as in SPAs and clinics of luxury hotels as a manual therapist offering deep soft tissue, Swedish and sport massage. Since graduating in osteopathy, I have treated in excess of 12000 patients presenting with a vast array of musculo-skeletal conditions both in the NHS and in private settings across London.
My patients’ base has been very diverse, ranging from young, acutely injured athletes to middle-aged and senior patients with both acute and chronic pathologies. Every single one of them has taught me to see constant adaptation to an individuals’ response along the entire therapeutic process and an empathetic, non-judgemental, respectful and professional attitude as essential aspects of my practice.
