OSTEOPATH & SPORTS THERAPIST
I’m a compassionate osteopath with a deep interest in caring for my patients and getting the best long-term results for them. I have been keenly interested in the human body and how it functions since I was young. Osteopathy has encouraged me to deepen my understanding of the reasons behind the body’s dysfunctions, working out how they may have occurred, what led to those injuries and how I might help my patients on their road to recovery.
By using a combination of sports massage and osteopathy I will try to create the ideal conditions for musculoskeletal injury recovery. During my osteopathic and sports massage experience I have seen a variety of dysfunctions and have been able to personalise each treatment to the patient’s needs.
My osteopathic experiences include 2 years of working in the University College of Osteopathy’s private clinic in London Bridge, and providing osteopathic care in an NHS GPs surgery, a pregnancy clinic and a baby and children’s clinic. I have seen and treated a variety of patients from all walks of life, ranging from complicated pathologies to athletes. My duties in the clinic consisted of taking detailed case histories, examination of the musculoskeletal systems (with special testing if necessary), followed by an osteopathic functional and biomechanical approach to treatment if appropriate.
I have been a sports massage therapist since 2018, supporting my patients in overcoming their pain and helping them to restore their function.
