As an aspiring long-distance runner, I often got injuries due to poor training and lack of self-care; my frustration with this combined with my fascination of how the human body functions led me to studying Sports Rehabilitation.
Whilst studying Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Bolton I developed my injury diagnostic and treatment process from various sources, including professional sports organisations such as Bury FC, Oldham Athletic AFC & Tranmere Rovers, as well as sporting events and private clinics. I also provided pitch side medical cover for Radcliffe Borough FC Academy.
Throughout University I would often volunteer spare time to go and learn differing methods and gain experience in treating different groups of individuals.
Since graduating I have also gained my Level 2 Fitness instructing and TRX Suspension training course, which further aided in my ability to understand the human body and movement.
