I am a qualified Sports Therapist and Sports Masseuse. My main interests are sports injury rehabilitation and soft tissue work. I qualified from Leeds Beckett University and during my placements I worked at Yorkshire Carnegie and Harrogate Town Football Club, working with the first team players. I am also working for Cambridge United Academy where my main focus is on pitch side and player rehabilitation. From December 2020 to March 2021 I was promoted as Senior Academy Sports Therapist delivery weekly rehabilitation plans for the u18s and assessing, diagnosing and treating injuries.
I have carried out placements at Yorkshire Carnegie and Harrogate Town Football Club, working with the first team players. I am also currently working for Cambridge United Academy where my main focus is on pitch side and player rehabilitation. I have a real interest in rehabilitation and the progression of clients from day one of injury to getting the client back to sport or everyday life. I am able to design specific rehabilitation programmes for clients ensuring that their specific needs are met.
My past experience includes working with Harrogate Town Football Club where I conducted rehabilitation programmes for the first team and also soft tissue work. Whilst at Yorkshire Carnegie I worked pitch side and taped and strapped players. I also conducted soft tissue work.
I enjoy playing all sports such as tennis, football, table tennis and badminton. I played for Hertfordshire in table tennis and also represented my university in Badminton. I have a real interest in rehabilitation and the progression of clients from day 1 of injury to getting the client back to sport or everyday life. My knowledge and experience will not stop there, as I want gain further experience and gain more qualifications in order to offer the best service.
