Growing up I took part in a variety of sports. I always had an interest in how the human body works, the importance of exercise on health and wellbeing, and how the body recovers from injury. Alongside this was a desire to help others with charity work, therefore it was only natural for me to combine these passions with a career in Sports Therapy.
I graduated from The University of Hertfordshire in 2017 with a First Class BSc (Hons) (SW) Sports Therapy degree. Whilst at university I spent a year working for the University’s Women’s Basketball Team where I won an award for outstanding contribution with the student intern physio team. As a part of this degree I was privileged to spend a season working within the medical department at Bristol City Football Club Academy. I have carried out many placements and volunteer work including providing sports massage to Asthma UK runners in the London Marathon, working in a private school and numerous private clinics.
Since graduating I have worked in a busy private physiotherapy clinic treating both sporting and general musculoskeletal injuries. I can provide many hands-on treatments as well as formulate tailored rehabilitation programmes. I take a holistic approach to treatment to help provide the best care to facilitate a full recovery.
I have completed many different courses and I am excited to develop further skills and qualifications as my career progresses. I have a desire to continue to learn and expand on my skill set to be the best I can and provide patients with the best treatment and advice.
I have a keen interest in sporting injuries and would love to specialise in the near future in lower limb injury treatment and rehabilitation.

Had a consultation with Jennifer about a knee problem. Jenie identified the problem and went to work straight away. Found areas I didn’t even know could contributed to the problem. I’d definitely recommend Jenie!
Jenie is a miracle worker! She’s taken me from having knee pain for 2 weeks, struggling to walk… to ready to compete at the British champs in 1 week! Couldn’t recommend any more and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
The team at Perfect Balance are amazing. Jennifer has been treating a grade 2 ligament tear in my left knee. Their knowledge, treatment and support have been invaluable and my knee is responding really well. I would highly recommend!
I had a sports massage with Jenie and couldn’t have been more impressed. Jenie’s energy, knowledge and interest in both my carpal tunnel and achilles problems was much appreciated. A blend of massage and advice which was excellent value for money!
Following some great sessions with Jennifer I have seen tremendous results in a very short period of time. I have had an extremely bad back for a number of years and after just a few sessions I have seen not only a reduction in pain but a massive increase in the flexibility of my back, something incredibly important to me as a young man trying to keep active. Not only are the one to one sessions key but the addition feedback and stretches Jennifer has given me has allowed me to continue my progress and this has been incredibly resourceful in targeting the area of the back that I have had issues with. Futhermore, Jennifer’s great personality also helps to make the session fun as well as productive. I would highly recommend her to anyone particularly with lower back issues such as myself.
An all round positive experience with the team at PB, from reception to practitioners. A big thanks to Jenie, always a positive experience with you during the sessions. It’s great to know we have a hub close by that understands and is able to discuss, diagnose and treat sport related injuries.
