As a Physiotherapist I want to help you get back to moving better; movement that feels natural, pain-free, and consistent with how the human body has been designed to move.

Since graduating I have worked with people from all walks of life, helping the elderly return to independence in their own homes and being able to enjoy the great outdoors again, treating common injuries like Shoulder, Knee, Neck and Back pain in most age groups, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries in people who take part in both casual and high level activities.

My NHS background has given me a strong foundation in rehabilitation. I have experience managing a varied caseload of musculoskeletal conditions and have rehabilitated people who have undergone various orthopaedic procedures.

My approach is to get to know you, understand your concerns, provide relevant knowledge to help you understand your body, and work together to achieve your goals.

Whilst working in the NHS I completed several rotations including Elderly Rehabilitation, whereby I helped patients, who had undergone joint replacement surgeries of the Hip and Knees, return to their previous abilities; I also helped people with various underlying health conditions, who had become deconditioned from long hospital stays, improve their strength and return home safely. I have been involved in the lengthy rehabilitation of stroke patients, helping to improve their balance and coordination; I completed a community Neurological rotation whereby I worked with patients who had conditions such as Parkinsons disase, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and other autoimmune disorders. I have worked in NHS outpatient Musculoskeletal physiotherapy diagnosing and treating patients with neck and lower back pain, joint arthritis, shoulder pain caused by rotator cuff injuries, dislocations and frozen shoulder.
