Physiotherapy at our Cambridge Clinic
At Perfect Balance Clinic Cambridge, physiotherapy focuses on understanding how pain, injury, or movement restriction affects your body's function. It also addresses what needs to change to aid recovery. Our physiotherapists use hands-on treatment along with movement analysis and exercise-based rehabilitation.
This approach helps reduce pain, restore confidence, and support long-term improvement. Whether your symptoms are new, recurring, or long-standing, we guide care through detailed assessment, clear explanation, and a structured plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.
Our clinic provides a unique rehabilitation environment with direct access to gym facilities. This access supports strength, mobility, and return-to-function programs.
Osteopathy
Our approach to osteopathy focuses on understanding how your body moves, adapts, and compensates. It looks at how those patterns contribute to pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries.
Our osteopaths perform hands-on assessments and treatments to reduce pain, restore movement, and support recovery. This is always part of a wider care approach. Whether symptoms appeared suddenly or developed gradually, osteopathy aims to address the underlying cause, not just the painful area.
This helps you move more comfortably and confidently in everyday life.
Sports Massage
At Perfect Balance Clinic Cambridge, sports therapy and sports massage help with recovery from injury, manage muscle pain, and improve the body's ability to handle training, work, and daily physical demands.
Whether symptoms come from sports, gym workouts, running, or long hours at a desk, treatment focuses on restoring movement quality, reducing pain, and preventing recurring problems, rather than just offering short-term relief.
Our combined approach aims to support both active individuals and those dealing with everyday muscle tension, overuse injuries, reduced mobility, or ongoing physical strain.

What we offer
All sessions are tailored to your goals, whether that’s getting out of pain or getting back on track.
What to expect
From your very first session, you’ll be in expert hands. We don’t do cookie-cutter treatments. We listen, assess, and create a plan that works for you, with hands-on therapy, real accountability, and full-body results that last.
Conditions we can help you with:
Arm pain
Arm pain can develop gradually due to repetitive strain, gym training, desk work, or changes in posture. It can also result from a sudden injury. At Perfect Balance, we evaluate how the shoulder, neck, elbow, and wrist work together to find the root cause of pain, weakness, or limited motion. We then create a treatment plan focused on long-term recovery.
Back and spine pain
Back and spine pain can impact everything from sleep and concentration to exercise and daily movement. Whether the symptoms relate to posture, disc irritation, joint stiffness, muscle tension, or nerve-related issues like sciatica, our team aims to understand why symptoms occur and what needs to change. Our goal is to restore confident movement and reduce the chances of symptoms returning.
Foot and ankle pain
Foot and ankle pain often affects how the entire body moves and compensates. This includes conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, running injuries, ankle sprains, and walking discomfort. We combine hands-on treatment with gait analysis, rehabilitation, and movement assessment to improve function and minimise ongoing strain.
Hip pain
Hip pain can arise from sports, training loads, prolonged sitting, limited mobility, or age-related stiffness. Our clinicians examine how the hips, pelvis, and lower back work together to identify the source of symptoms. We create personalised rehabilitation plans that enhance strength, mobility, and movement control.
Knee pain
Knee pain often depends on strength, biomechanics, and how the body absorbs load during walking, running, or exercise. Whether the symptoms are related to sports, gym training, osteoarthritis, ligament strain, or persistent discomfort, we focus on reducing irritation, improving stability, and restoring confidence in movement.
Shoulder pain
Shoulder pain can make daily tasks, sleep, and exercise challenging. From rotator cuff injuries and frozen shoulder to gym-related strain and postural tension, we assess how the shoulder, neck, and upper back function together. Our goal is to improve movement quality, reduce pain, and support long-term recovery.
Sports injuries
Sports injuries rarely affect just one area alone. At Perfect Balance, we look beyond the painful spot to understand movement patterns, training demands, and recovery capacity. Whether dealing with muscle strains, tendon pain, running injuries, or return-to-sport rehabilitation, our treatment aims to help you recover completely and perform confidently again.
Overall health diagnostics and strengthening
Not all symptoms stem from a single injury. Sometimes ongoing fatigue, recurring discomfort, reduced performance, or repeated injuries indicate that the body struggles with load, recovery, or movement demands. Our multidisciplinary team takes a full-body approach that combines assessment, rehabilitation, strength training, and specialist services to enhance resilience, movement quality, and long-term physical health.
