Acupuncturist & Physiotherapist
Tiffany Wu
Clinic location : Moorgate and St John's Wood
I’m an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with an MSc in Physiotherapy with Distinction and a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine from the University of Hong Kong. My six-year training combined Chinese and Western medicine, biomedical sciences and extensive clinical practice. I’m also a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council and have seven years’ experience using acupuncture across both hospital and private practice settings.
My main clinical focus is musculoskeletal physiotherapy, treating conditions such as neck and back pain, restricted mobility, arthritis, shoulder and hip pain, knee injuries, inflammatory joint and soft-tissue conditions, and persistent pain. I also have experience treating nerve-related conditions, including sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, Morton’s neuroma and radiculopathy.
I work with a wide range of patients, from high-performance athletes and busy office professionals to those looking to improve their mobility and overall wellbeing. I particularly enjoy helping people who have experienced persistent neck or back stiffness, or sciatica, where symptoms have continued despite previous conservative treatment. In these cases, I use a combination of physiotherapy, acupuncture and exercise tailored to the individual.
I also have a broader interest in conditions such as sleep difficulties, stress-related symptoms, migraines and indigestion.
My approach is always personalised and centred around each patient’s individual needs and goals. I combine exercise, education and manual therapy with acupuncture or cupping where appropriate, helping patients understand their condition and play an active role in their recovery.
