Emergency First Aid at Work

The fascination with human movement started way back when I was a teenager in the full swing of my dancing career. After a few years of involvement in various dance competitions and working backstage with some of the most talented performers in West End, I realised, that my true passion lays not so much with being on the stage, but in improving the performance of others and seeing their skillset grow.

It was then, when I decided to step away from competitive dancing and dedicate my time to studying human anatomy and biomechanics of movement-I dropped the glamourous heels and dresses and started a full-time career as a Personal Trainer.

Nearly a decade later and after having had a chance to work with some of the most challenging cases, as well as everyday people with the most challenging lives-I have gained a new-found appreciation for human body and mind. I have learned how to overcome tight schedules and those days when you just rather stay in bed, as well as how to help people, who wanted to push their physical performance beyond the expected.

I believe in an unbreakable connection between health and fitness and use that holistic approach to help my Clients achieve their goals faster, tailoring their programmes to their very personal needs. A strong, balanced, mobile body, is the healthy body I want for all of them. I work with clients dealing with Osteoporosis, Diabetes, Hypermobility and coming back from physical injuries. I have worked with some of the most complicated cases and helped people that others turned down. I believe everyone can make life-changing improvements, they just need someone knowledgeable to guide them through that journey.

Apparently, my personality is quite bearable too!

Pilates Instructor

Pilates Instructor

I am registered with Merrithew.com as a STOTT Pilates and ZEN-GA Instructor.

I have always loved movement and for many years pounded the gym participating in aerobics, LBT, Spinning etc.  In fact you name it and I’ve probably done it!  But I never paid any interest in Pilates.  Now much later in my life, I wish I had a mini me sitting on my shoulder nudging me to give it a go!

My personal journey with Pilates started back in 2015.  Like many of you I only started my Pilates journey because I was suffering from bad posture, a weak core and chronic pain.  I immediately fell in love and wanted to understand the system in greater depth.  So in 2018 I undertook the study of Pilates and the human body and in 2019 qualified as a STOTT Pilates Instructor.

I qualified as a Matwork Level 3 Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates in London after 10 years of attending Pilates classes. I teach beginners and intermediate classes and I have completed my qualification as a Back4Good Practitioner which enables me to teach Healthy Back Classes and 1:1 private lessons. I work with my clients so they can become aware of their bodies and improve their technique. It is rewarding to see the improvement in their alignment, posture, strength and flexibility and in less pain as a result of injuries. I am constantly learning new ways to motivate, challenge and improve the daily life of clients so that they feel better physically and mentally but at the same time being sympathetic to their bodies by varying the exercises.

Sports Therapist

I am an enthusiastic and steadfast Pilates instructor and sports injuries therapist.

My work ethos is not only to help people to recover from their pain or injuries but ensuring that they return to a level of fitness higher than before to prevent any future recurrence. Over years of experience I perceive that regular Pilates sessions are one of best way to do so.

I enjoy exercising Pilates myself for a number of benefits and like to keep good posture and lower back pain away, to reset positive focus and destress.  Moreover, I enjoy teaching Pilates to share all these great benefits with my clients.

To provide quality sessions I teach Pilates in a small groups and one-to-one base. The classes are designed to improve deep core strength and mobility of joins.

Healthy hips classes are great to increase flexibility and help strengthen after hip surgery or decrease pain of Osteoarthritis.

The shoulders mobility classes are to improve rotator cuff strength, scapular movements and to decrease neck stiffness.

Mum to be and post natal classes are to help mums to rebuild a strong body, destress and bust self-confidence.

Pilates for runners are advance level of exercises to keep a good durability and endurance for short and long runs.

I graduated in 2011 from Middlesex University as a Sports Injury Rehabilitator and recently I took a range of Pilates courses at APPI – Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institution. I believe that this knowledge, my skills, and work determination are good contexts for providing excellent and fun Pilates classes.
