PROFESSIONAL,
PERSONAL & HONEST

We know our limits and are happy keeping our clients, not our egos, at the centre of our approach.

We offer a specialised team of clinicians and therapists, each with a unique interest in the well-being of the body. Tailored treatment is provided for people from every walk of life – whether you have back pain, aches or pains, knee pain, a sports injury, discomfort during pregnancy or even a crying baby who can’t sleep. We have taken time to build our team and we look for practitioners who can bring something unique to the team, not just anyone! This means that we actually do lots of things … well!

The company started with two Osteopaths (one a midwife and the other with a background in neuroscience and sports) coming together with a vision to create a 360-degree solution for people’s health. We have grown lots since then and our staff work as a team to provide a special service. None of us are afraid of hard work so we are 100% dedicated to getting you back on track. We can help with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, trapped nerves, wrist pain, hand pain, sports injuries, pregnancy discomfort, crying babies and more. We treat using a range of methods, including Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy and Osteopathy, in Hatfield, St Albans, St.Pauls, Harley Street, Cambridge and Fulham: whatever your concern, we can find the right service for you. We are also one of the few clinics in the country to offer the Gait-scan and Biomechanical Analysis.

By listening to what you need from the moment we take your call to the moment we tell you ‘I hope I don’t see you too soon’, we listen, we care and we are professional.

A PERSONAL SERVICE

Our sole aim is to make sure you get better – quickly!

We treat each case based on individual needs: this means that we don’t do the same thing every time and we make sure we find what’s going on to get you better – and keep you that way!

We are pleased when you don’t come back because it means we’ve done a good job and you feel better! It also means you are still doing your rehab exercises and continuing to manage your issue. We are always here for you though if things lapse.

We like to think of our company as lots of little clinics all under one roof, with one big pool of in-house knowledge to get you better! We all meet on a regular basis to make sure we share ideas and keep in touch with each other. When necessary, and in confidence, we discuss case notes of people we have seen who are being treated by more than one therapist, to make sure they are getting better as quickly as possible.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT PERFECT BALANCE CLINIC

As soon as you walk through our clinic door, you can expect to be warmly welcomed into a friendly and energetic atmosphere at Perfect Balance Clinic. Our mission is to provide the best clinical care for our clients…always. We put our clients and therapists at the centre of what we do, ensuring that our clients enjoy a professional and comfortable experience.

At Perfect Balance Clinic, we understand that each and every client is unique in their own right and our team of therapists have been specifically trained to understand the importance of not just identifying the injury, but also understanding the mechanism of how the injury occurred in the first place.

We treat each case based on individual needs: this means that we don’t do the same thing every time and we make sure we find what’s going on to get you better – and keep you that way.

Your first visit to Perfect Balance Clinic

When you first visit the clinic, you will be asked your name and who you are seeing by our receptionist. If there is no receptionist at the clinic you are visiting, you can use one of our iPad log-in systems to sign in, which will notify your therapist that you are here.

At the start of the appointment, your therapist will take your health history. Your first appointment with a therapist always involves a detailed case history and examination. Your therapist will spend sufficient time with you to understand and explain what is causing your problems and how best to address them. They will then provide the best treatment for your specific problem and circumstances. Your first appointment will be 45 minutes. If you have X-rays, MRI results or any other test results, please bring them so you can discuss with your therapist.

Ideally you should come with suitable clothing/underwear so that an accurate diagnosis of the problem can be made. Usually sports wear such as a pair of shorts and a vest or sports bra are suitable. We want you to feel comfortable, this is a priority. We are very friendly but we understand that you may like to bring someone along to your appointment such as a chaperone and that is fine.

Your second visit and regular visits

When you return to the clinic again, your therapist will review the findings with you and explain the results to you in a clear and comprehensive way. If an X-ray has been taken, the results of these and their impact on your health will be carefully explained to you as well.

Following the report of findings, your therapist will then go through the specific care plan that has been developed for you. Should you then wish to start, treatment may begin.

Once the best plan of your care has been decided upon, our helpful reception team will be able to book in advance any appointments required so please do bring your diary.

Your therapist will also provide you with exercises which you can perform at-home as part of your recovery process. We use our very own program called MyExercisePro.

We are pleased when you don’t come back because it means we’ve done a good job and you feel better! It also means you are still doing your rehab exercises and continuing to manage your issue. We are always here for you though if things lapse.

Teamwork for the best results

We passionately believe in movement and exercise as a route to giving you optimal health, to aid reduction of problems such as back pain, and to promote well-being for everyone. This is why we work closely with rehabilitation experts: Pilates instructors, Physiotherapists and personal trainers, to provide that all-in-one package to get you back to health.

We review how our clients get on at the clinic and we find that, in most cases, individuals who have been referred within our team have got the best from seeing several therapists and its taken fewer treatments to get them better, saving time and money.

Our specialised team of clinicians and therapists come with their own unique interest in the well-being of the body. Tailored treatment is provided for people from every walk of life.

None of us are afraid of hard work so we are 100% dedicated to getting you back on track. We can help with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, trapped nerves, wrist pain, hand pain, sports injuries, pregnancy discomfort, crying babies and more.
